Dato' Mohamed Sharil has been a valuable member of DMS and PRIVASIA, having steered in transforming the group from its traditional telecommunications, technology and Information and communications technology businesses to the development of cloud-based solutions. He have held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and have worked closely with various international organisations such as Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, Internet Society and more. Subsequently, he was also one of the Board Members of Digital Nasional Berhad, to build, own and manage Malaysia's 5G network for commercial launches nationwide. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director for Pos Malaysia Berhad.

Prior to this, Puvanesan is also a senior in the Business Advisory and Assurance Department of BDO Simpsons Xavier in Ireland. Upon his return to Malaysia, Puvanesan held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Makmal Jaya Group. An active member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
